WHO I AM
I have dedicated over 20 years developing my skills as a fitness and sports technician. As a private trainer, I have over 20,000 hours of 1-on-1 client session experience which spans a wide variety of individual fitness goals. While I have an extensive background in fitness, corrective exercise and bio-mechanics, I have also played competitively in several sports over my lifetime. In college, I played Division 1 baseball. Later, I began playing in competitive beach volleyball as well as semi-pro football as a quarterback. In 2012, I officially transitioned to professional status in the sport of golf and am currently a standing member with the PGA of America.
My certifications have included:
Bachelor of Science
National Academy of Sports Medicine - Certified Personal Training
National Academy of Sports Medicine - Corrective Exercise Specialist
American Council on Exercise - Personal Training Certification
Aerobics and Fitness Association of America - Personal Training Certification
My goal is to package my extensive experience and apply it to every client’s goal so they can either feel better, play better, or simply move better.
IS YOUR TRAINING ONLY MEANT FOR GOLFERS?
Absolutely not! You have the option to focus solely on fitness training if that is your goal. Together we can focus on goals like weight loss, muscle gain, sports performance or even overall improved quality of life.
CAN I JUST TAKE GOLF LESSONS?
Definitely! While including fitness training is strongly recommended to help drive long-term results, packages are available for our golf only clients.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF COMBINING GOLF AND FITNESS?
Great question! To play your best, you need flexibility, joint mobility, and strength. Most amateur players lack the first two and those are critical in order to have the proper bio-mechanics to move the club properly. Including fitness provides you the opportunity to identify those imbalances and learn how to improve them.
DO YOU OFFER ONLINE TRAINING?
Yes! Our online training package offers video swing analysis with corrective feedback.
